Workshop in Richmond, VA

Join us for a four-evening workshop, “Your Money, Storms, and More,” Sunday evenings from February 9 to March 2, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The workshop is hosted by Third (Presbyterian) Church, 600 Forest Avenue, Room 213, Richmond, VA (note new location) above the Fellowship Hall in the main building, and is co-sponsored by Grove Avenue Baptist Church and Redemption Hill Church. Admission is free. Dessert and coffee will be provided. Email steve@josephsway.org to register.

The seminar topics include:

What challenges are ahead of us economically, socially, and more, and what opportunities will those challenges open up for the church and the gospel?

The critical importance of knowing that God is in control, even in the hardest of times.

Why spiritual preparation is most important: it equips us for all kinds of trials, personal and national.

How we can prepare financially for what is ahead: prudent ways we can prepare for economic challenges related to the national debt, while preparing to serve others who will be hit hardest by those challenges.

Wise ways churches and families can help people in need that empower them and provide lasting change.

Ways that churches and families can prepare for natural and manmade emergencies, that equip them to serve others more effectively during and after a crisis.

Why we need to pray for mercy for our country, but for the right reasons.
