Joseph’s Way offers emergency planning assistance for families and churches through our seminars, where trained professionals can help you make prudent preparations for short and long-term emergencies (such as a prolonged blackout if our power grid is compromised).

We also offer high quality emergency supplies, through our relationship with Nexis Response, a company that helps Fortune 500 companies with their emergency planning and supply needs. Nexis Response can also help churches, businesses, and even families with their emergency planning needs.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reports that by the end of 2018, the U.S. National Debt (publicly held) will total $16 trillion, which is 78 percent of our GDP (or gross domestic product, the total of what our nation produces in goods and services in a year). That will increase to $29 trillion by 2028, or 96 percent of our GDP. That Debt is expected to total more than 150 percent of our GDP within 20 years.

Entitlement programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are the major drivers of that growing debt. Meanwhile, more and more Americans are retiring without sufficient savings every year, increasing the future need for government assistance. This is an unstainable path. We offer help from professional financial advisors on ways families can prepare for these and other fiscal challenges. We also provide resources to churches on wise ways to help people in need, such as instructional materials from The Chalmers Center.
